For senior leaders

The private market, on your terms.

You're invisible until you choose to be visible. Firms we've vetted request to be introduced. You decide — every single time.

The problem

At your level, the best roles don't reach you through job boards.

By the time a $300K role is posted publicly, the firm has already talked to six people through private channels. The public market is a slow second choice — for you and for them.

The private market is where senior hiring actually happens, and until now you had to be lucky enough to know the right person at the right moment. TopHeads makes that luck structural.

Not there yet at $150K+? Reapply when you are. We keep watching.

A letter from the founder
Friends, colleagues — welcome.

I'm glad you're here. Take your time on this page — this is not a job board, and trying to use it like one will frustrate you.

A bit of history. TopHeads has actually been around for a few years — I first launched an early version of this idea back in 2021. The concept never quite stopped haunting me, but the technology of the day could not deliver the experience I wanted: a curated, low-friction, deeply human meeting point between senior executives and the recruiters who hire them. With the maturity of modern AI and the tools that have arrived in the last couple of years, that finally became possible. What you are looking at this spring is the second-generation TopHeads — a full relaunch I have been quietly rebuilding for months.

I designed TopHeads as a place where executives and professional recruiters can meet each other comfortably — without exposing anyone's privacy, without forcing anyone to publicly signal that they are open to a move, and without the noise of a generic job marketplace. Anonymous by default, identity disclosed only when you choose, signal-only on both sides.

It is also a club. Members of TopHeads have the ability to quietly connect with one another, exchange offers, share opportunities, and trade the kind of low-key solutions that senior people normally only swap inside private dinners and closed Slack groups. Not a feed. Not a public forum. A small, trusted, anonymous-by-default layer for people at your level.

And yes — TopHeads is a paid service for candidates. Deliberately so. It is the only honest way to keep the quality of the community high, and the only way I can personally guarantee to the hiring companies on the other side that what they are seeing is a genuinely curated flow of serious senior leaders, not a recycled job board feed. The fee is the membership, and the membership is the curation. Founding-member pricing is intentionally low while the platform grows.

The new version of TopHeads launches officially in spring 2026. I'm personally reviewing every profile, personally promoting members across my network, and personally answering messages. If you read all the way down this page and decide this is your kind of place, I would be honoured to have you as one of the founding members.

Welcome aboard.

How it works

Four steps. All controlled by you.

01
Apply
Mike reads every application personally. Two business days.
02
Build your card
The anonymous, public version of you — what firms see. You control every word.
03
Go live
Your card enters the private market. Vetted firms can now request an introduction.
04
You decide
Every introduction waits for your yes. No yes, no contact. Ever.
Who is this for

You hold the key.

Your name, current firm, exact comp, contact details
All private until you approve an introduction. Firms never find you — you choose who reaches you.
What firms see
Your experience, trajectory, comp band, geography. Enough to decide they want to meet you. Not enough to find you.
Not "your data is secure." You decide who sees you.
You're invisible until you choose to be visible. A private room. You hold the key.
Who's on the other side

Firms Mike knows.

Every firm in the room has been through Mike before they get access. Hiring firms across every industry and geography. No recruiting agencies. No outsourced sourcers. Decision-makers who are actually hiring, at firms with the budgets for the band you're in.
